TOM GEORGE FOR GOVERNOR FIX MICHIGAN TEAM GROWS

Senator Tom George, MD (R-Kalamazoo) announced today that he has expanded his Fix Michigan team by hiring Mary Doster to serve as the campaign's Treasurer.

Senator Tom George, MD (R-Kalamazoo) announced today that he has expanded his Fix Michigan team by hiring Mary Doster to serve as the campaign's Treasurer.

"Mary's years of public accounting experience and most recently in the area of campaign finance are essential to ensuring that our campaign financial records are compliant with Michigan Election laws," said Sen. George. "I am pleased to have her level of skill and talent on our team."

Mary Doster is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelors of Business Administration and a Masters in Accounting. She gained 10 years of public accounting experience with Ernst & Young and Andrews Hooper & Pavlik. During the past 10 years, Mary has been self employed as the sole member of Sage Consultants.

As an auditor in public accounting, Mary has worked in the areas of Insurance, Healthcare, Notfor- profit, and Retail industries. With Sage Consultants, she has worked with Federal and State candidates, State Party Committees, Ballot Question Committees, PACs, and other entities. Mary's roles with these organizations have ranged from treasurer, compliance manager, to auditor.

Mary Doster is married to Eric and together they have three beautiful, accomplished girls, ages 15, 12, and 10. She was born in Detroit, raised in Grosse Pointe Shores, and has spent all her working and family life in the Lansing area.

Prior to Mary joining the George for Governor Team, Bill Carney has been an integral member of the campaign as its IT/Web Communications consultant. Bill is the founder and owner of Inspiration Webworks.
